Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR)

ADR Course Training:

  • 5 days Initial to include Tanker and Packages plus classes
  • 4½ day Initial, Tanker and classes
  • 3½ days Initial training, Packages
  • 3 day refresher training, full

Consignors Responsibility Workshop: (Current text of the Dangerous Goods regulations ADR)

  • Requirement: Anyone who consigns or transports (includes fillers/packers) dangerous goods by road
  • This course meets the legal requirements of Chapters 1.3 and 8.2 of ADR
Vehicle Operators Workshop: (Current text of the Dangerous Goods regulations ADR)
  • Requirement: Anyone who consigns or transports dangerous goods by road
  • This course meets the legal requirements of Chapter 1.3 ADR
Chemical Awareness for Loaders/Unloaders: (Current text of the Dangerous Goods regulations)
  • Requirements: Anyone who loads or unloads dangerous goods
  • Can also be adapted to include fillers and packers
  • This course meets the legal requirements of Chapter 1.3 ADR
Appointed Persons: Forecourt Deliveries
  • Requirements: Those whose duties are responsible for the receiving of petrol on licensed premises
  • Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002; follows the DSEAR Regulations L133
Load Restraint
  • Requirements: Drivers of any motor vehicle plus anyone who has involvement of loading vehicles
Tachograph & Drivers Hours:
  • Covering current legislation, EU regulation 3820/85 and 3821/85 and regulation requirements of both driver's hours and record keeping
Yard Shunter S.P.A (Safety Passport Alliance)
  • Requirements, Those contractors who work on either Petrol Forecourts or in Quarries
  • Qualification: Industry recognised certification
  • This course is undertaken and administrated by IOSH and is delivered on behalf of Safety Train
